Johnny Lightning, where does it come from ?

Johnny Lightning is a scale model car brand from the United States, born in 1969. Initially they were small scale models powered by a sort of catapult, but the brand has passed through several hands over the years. The build quality is similar to Hotwheels, but they are a little more exclusive.
